The Crown Estate
Building a One Team culture at The Crown Estate.
The Challenge
The Crown Estate administers over £15 billion worth of commercial real estate and holdings across the UK.
As part of their focus on enhancing resident and visitor experience, dragonfish was invited to help the flagship London Portfolio build a ‘One Team’ culture throughout their group of service partners. This team, with their 600+ team members, spread across multiple service lines, were critical to engage.
“The atmosphere was amazing. Really interactive and engaging. Expanded my knowledge and understanding of the crown estate”
- Session Participant, People & Places, The Crown Estate
The Solution
Our team designed an interactive live culture experience to inspire these team members, which deepened their understanding of the estate's purpose, values, and history and helped build connections among the different functions of engineers, front of house, security, cleaning, and landscaping.
The live experience was wrapped with a compelling creative approach and narrative – titled People & Places - which aimed to showcase the incredible individuals and buildings that make up The Crown Estate.
The spotlight was placed on accessibility and inclusivity by using graphical and pictorial methods to tell the story, applying clear language and incorporating closed captions, and translating the full English version into alternate languages.
Our Impact
Over the course of six weeks, our team delivered the live experience to all service partner team members throughout 35 sessions in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. To incorporate the experience into their future onboarding approach, a Train the Trainer was delivered to an internal team of The Crown Estate facilitators.
Dragonfish is continuing to monitor the performance impact of our partnership and working with The Crown Estate on aligning culture with resident and visitor experience.
