Dragonfish announced as Culture Consultancy of the Year 2021/22

Dragonfish Consulting were presented with the award for Culture Consultancy of the Year 2021/22 at this year’s Business Culture Awards. The team was also Highly Commended in the Business Transformation Initiative category for their work with Ordnance Survey.

Selected as winner of the prize by a panel of renowned HR directors and professionals, Dragonfish MD, Niall Cluley, and Strategy and Research Director, Andree Gowar, attended the event (hosted by comedian, Phil Wang) in-person while the rest of the team tuned in virtually. The company was recognised for the commitment to their purpose, which is (as stated on their website): “making work more meaningful.”

Dragonfish have worked with over 65 ambitious brands to date and have impacted over half a million working lives with the work they have done. This is their eleventh award in total, having previously won numerous UK Employee Experience Awards. Indeed, during the ceremony, the business was praised for being “their own culture experiment.”

Of the company’s achievement, Dragonfish MD, Niall Cluley, said, “Our vision is to be recognised as trusted experts and pioneers leading the impact that culture has on performance. This awards’ recognition is a great marker of the progress we have made.”

Niall also acknowledged that the hardships of COVID-19 have had an impact on culture within the workplace and commended his team for their personal dedication over the last 18 months in particular. He also further added that, “we also know how much work we still have to do to achieve our ambition; helping organisations better understand and harness the links between their people, brand and customers. The context in which organisations are operating today is changing rapidly - managing culture well is both a force for good and an imperative for competitive advantage."
